Signature Annual Event
The Rioja Festival
Next edition: Sat, November 7 (draft date, to be confirmed)
Once a year, La Vid becomes one long table. Dozens of bottles of Rioja open in a single day: young wines, old wines, whites, and the occasional rarity, with Iberian food and live music that suits the room.
It is a festival in the original sense: a day organized around one great subject. Between glasses you'll learn what Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva actually mean, and taste the difference for yourself.
Questions, answered
- Do I need to know anything about wine?
- No. The festival is built for curiosity, not expertise. Every table has someone happy to explain what you are tasting.
- How many wines are open?
- Dozens of Riojas across styles and ages: young Crianzas through Gran Reservas, plus whites and the occasional rarity. (Draft: final count varies by year.)
- Is there food?
- Yes. Iberian food is part of the day, alongside live music suited to the room. (Draft: menu details announced with each edition.)
- How do tickets work?
- DRAFT: ticketing details to be confirmed. Call (813) 450-1280 or join the list below to hear when tickets open.
